Post Tuning with lt1 edit?

Is a dyno pretty much a must when using lt1 edit or can the tuning be done safely without one?
Thanks guys

You can tune without a dyno, just that dynoing makes it quicker and more accurate. Tuning without a dyno takes a lot of runs and small changes. You richen it up and take a lot of timing out to begin. Then lean it out and increase timing little by little watching 02s and knock.

I work timing off the dyno to get it running decently, if your remaining in CLOSED LOOP operation try to bring your BLMs together, and then for WOT tuning hit the dyno, if time remains play with timing a little if needed, but you SHOULD be able to do most of this work on the street.

AF though for WOT could be dangerous if you are very lean, and without the dyno it would take some education to make good guesswork on that one, including looking at plugs etc, without a wide band O2 at some point its mostly educated guesses or missing horsepower, and possibly a blown engine if your in a danger zone.

Make sense?
