Tuning idle with CC306

Time to tune in my new engine

415cui
9.0:1 comp
cc306

Changes so far

Closed Throttle SA 24deg
Idle speed N 1000rpm
Idle speed D 800rpm
Vacuum is 8-10 at 1000rpm
O2 swing points lowered 100mV

But I think the idle still is to rough, what timing doea you CC306 guys have at closed throttle?

i would try to set it to atleast 32 degrees of closed throttle timing.
I personally run 40 degrees at idle but my cams bigger then a cc306

Bumped up the timing to 29 deg last night, vacuum increased to 11 at idle. Will try to increse it some more.

It seems like it likes to ramp up the timing fast from idle and up...

Do you set the lower values in the main SA tabel to the 40 deg to?! Your main SA table would look real fun then........

my timing table below 3500 is anywhere between 41-43 degrees of advance. so at idle its 40 and at throttle tip in it increases slightly which makes the car reponsive and not stumble. but my cam is bigger than a cc306 so you wont need nearly that much timing. But is is a good idea to have a degree or 2 more timing at throttle tip in then at idle. will prevent stumbles
