Tune was done by Ion at mad2z8.com for my mods. Sorry no tuning software and I don't have a wideband to check A/F ratio. And my plugs are fuel fouled, I could go pull one out right now after the car has been sitting since Saturday night and it will smell like gas and if I run the car and pull a plug it will be wet. I think my pushrods being too long are keeping the valves open when they should be shut.

I'm really thinking that its my pushrods being too long, I'm pretty sure I ordered the wrong ones but I'll make sure wednesday and order the correct length pushrods wednesday afternoon and hopefully have them by Friday.

Would the pushrods being too long make the car really rich? It would explain why its soo hard for me to get the correct preload.

You would have low compression if that was the case and backfiring in the intake and exhaust. LT1s have an adjustable valvetrain so too long a pushrod will effect more where the rocker arm contacts the valve tip rather than what you think is happening. You would have to have all the inner pistons in the lifters bottomed out for the valves to be hanging open.

Ok I ordered the MAP pigtail and the new wireing harness for the Opti and I'm going to check the pushrod length tomorrow when I get some time. Then I'm going to change the plugs again. Once I get all of that done and the new pushrods installed if they are needed I'll see how everything works and post another datamaster scan to see how everything is working.

Anyone have a suggestion for the gap on the plugs? I gapped my other plugs to .050, but should I go smaller?

Thanks again for the help guys, I really do appreciate it.
