Re: TunerCATS for OBD2 soon!

That is not TCs fault... that is the people that develop the romulator.

Re: TunerCATS for OBD2 soon!

Hey, just wondering how the TunerCat for OBD2 LT1 is progressing...Im going to be getting into something for my 96 z28, and if I can avoid paying 550 for a one car locked programmer, that would be great.

You talking about a flash EEPROM such as a 29C256 or are you refering to a flash memory chip that resides in a late model GM PCM? If you are refering to the later, I doubt thats ever going to come about.

I sorta thought so. Sorry I really doubt that will ever happen. I have seen GMs R&D stuff that intercepts the PCM and the engine much like a romulator does. Somehow it reads and writes from this device, it had GM all over it. No telling who made it for them, I suspect HP or Vetronics but no one is talking about that one.

Some of the OBD2 files are finished, the 96-97 I understand will be out soon. With Tunercat, for less than 400.00 you will get 96-97 LT1 Camaro, Firebird, and Corvette. Additional definitions are around 90.00, so for example, you could add for instance, 99-01 Camaro, Firebird, and Corvette for less than a 100.00.
