Tunercat starting point
I've been doing alot of research and still have lots of ?'s. New to the tuning world, my set-up is as follows: 383ci, 9.1 comp, 42lb injectors, 58mm tb, s-trim 12lbs boost, cc306 cam, stock heads, 1.6 rr, 1 3/4 long tube headers, dual 3" exhaust, no egr, no air pump etc., I have a 97 ed w. programed computer that works well but I also have a 94 computer untouched that I will be attempting to program with Tunercat. Were is a good starting point? I've already set the cyl vol and injector size, but what I'm curious about is which tables to leave alone and which tables to monkey with. Or if someone has a similar bin file I could use to compare. The spark, fuel and MAF tables(all 4) are still a little greek to me. Thanks in advance.
A better source for some of the really hard stuff like yours (messing with the volume tables) is the lt1-edit board. Its available off the www.carputing.com page (somewhere). A lot of those guys have technically hard setups like yours and might be able to help with those tables.
Just checked that site and its actually a emailing forum. I think there is a way you can do searches on topics as well.

I am new to programing also. But if you switch to the 94 ecm don't forget to modify the ecm. The knock sensor is diffent for the 97 ecm. You can just add a resistor to the 94 ecm, that way you don't have to change the sensor. Hope the info is helpful( if you didn't know about it already).
