Don't know, they don't make LT1_Edit for 93s

Tunercat is pretty straight foward though.

I have both software packages. I use TC for 99% of all tuning needs. Plus I have my own version of the EE definitions with tables that Edit doesn't have. One can also create, or edit any existing ecm definition file with TCs tdf editor. This means if you have the capability and the knowledge you can create or customize your definition file to suit your needs or your clients needs. Edit does not come close in this area.

Plus TC isn't locked to one PCM which in my opinion is a good thing. TC also works on just about any other GM ECM as well. Customer support is excellent as well far exceeding most any software company.

I do like one feature that Edit has and that is the capability of auto scaling the shift tables when a gear change is made. TC has yet to implement that into their software package.

Oh, one more tidbit....TC will soon be releasing their version of OBD2 software for LS1 based cars and trucks as well as 96 to 97 LT1 OBD2 cars. I know a lot of you are saying this has been said thousands of times, but I can tell you it is forthcoming and its very close to release

So for those of you looking to buy LS1 editing tools wait! I can gurantee you will save $$$ over what is currently available from the Edit boys and the new HP Tuner software. And guess what? Its not going to be locked to one PCM either!!
