Tunercat Help

I am looking for a little help with adjusting WOT shift points in Tunercat. I want to shift about 5800. I adjusted the MPH tables and that did not work. I read to adjust the Kickdown shift RPM threshold which I set to 3000 rpm. From my understanding according to an old post I read at WOT it has to meet both RPM and Speed to shift. I figured if I put the RPM low I can adjust with MPH but it is not working.

Please help or point me to websites that may help.

Thanks

Jon

Re: Tunercat Help

Try doing it the other way around. Set the rpm threshold about 400rpm lower than where you actually want it to shift.

Re: Tunercat Help

I think I may have figured out what I was doing wrong. I was adjusting the Normal Mode Up/Down Shift Points and I think I should have been adjusting the Kickdown Mode U/Down Shift Points.

I'll reload the program and see if that does it.
