Tunercat error - INCORRECT MESSAGE SENT

I am getting an incorrect message sent from tunercat when I try to read the PCM. I programmed it about 4 months ago with no problems. I just bought 30lb injectors and was going to update the program and I can't read it now. I have confirmed that the serial cable is connected to the computer, the ALDL convertor is connected to the serial cable and my ALDL wires are hard wired, so its not the ALDL plug. I can even get datalog information with freescan. Any ideas as to whats up? This notebook is only used for Tunercat so it rarely gets used, so I don't think its a virus of any kind, heck it hasn't been turned on in 3 months. I reinstalled tunercat, no help. What are the odds that my ALDL connector went bad all of a sudden? I am going to try a different laptop tonight, maybe the serial port is flaking out on mine. Any ideas?

Try something to test the serial port and make sure its actually turned on. Then if you can find datamaster or freescan, that will tell you if its tunercat that is the problem or point you toward the cable/computer.

It was the notebook itself. Weird how it would datalog with freescan no problems, but tunercat wouldnt work. Hooked up a different notebook and it flashed fine.
