Tuner Cat WOT on LS1

Hey guy's got a quick question. I was in the middle of WOT tuning my buddy's 2000 SS using my LM1. My clamp I was using for the wideband came loose and I ran over the O2 anyways I wanted to get him a close WOT a/f.
His stock settings were
Power enrich fuel multiplier Vs. RPM = 1.251 stock across the RPM range.

I was thinking a close setting to use would be = 1.190 setting
Does that seem close to what others are using for a car with only LT headers?

It depends on what your target AFR is, and how accurate the PCM is able to command it.

1.251 = 11.75 AFR
1.190 = 12.35 AFR

If the PCM is actually able to get you 12.35 when you ask for it, then it should improve power. It's a bit on the rich side of where optimal power typically is on the LS1, but it will definitely be better then 11.75. As always, engines vary, so the best approach is to verify on the dyno.

Thanks for the reply. I pretty much relize that every car is going to be slightly different. And in my opinion that is why mail order tunes for A/F is not the best option. But I guess I am just asking what other peoples setting are with similar setups. I planed on keeping it on the slightly richer side just incase.
