hey guys i'm new to this forum... i have an 87 s10 blazer that i've put an 94
lt1 motor out of z28 into... and i've got it running pretty good and all( still need to get some O2 sensors installed and my exhaust welded),
but my problem is that my fans aren't coming on... im using tunercats and i dont think i ever messed w/ the temperature parameters for the fans coming on... but they look kind of funny to me... extremely low, this is what they are
fan1 on threshhold (low mph) = 0 degrees Celsius
" " high mph = -25 degrees C
fan 2 low mph = 6 C
" " high mph = 6 C
fan hysteresis low speed = 3 C
fan hysteresis high speed + 3 C

i have 2 e-fans off a taurus running off the the camaro computers signals wired w/ relays.... the fans run through the relays when i connect the switched power to the battery... so its gotta have something to do w/ the computer....
so are those fan settings as weird as i think they are... if so what should i change them 2...i want them to come on a little early... like at 190?? F
would those settings cause the fans, not to come on? what are the other possibilities... the water temp sender in in the waterpump was j/replaced... so yeah i dunno.. thanx in advance..

Yes, those are way low... although in that case they should be on at all times w/ coolant temp above those temps.

How about the "fan X on, oil temp" constants?

 

fan 1 on oil temp -low rpm 7 deg C
fan 1 on oil temp high rpm 7 deg C
fan 2 on oil temp low rpm 10 deg C
fan 2 on oil temp high rpm 15 deg C
hysteresis 0 deg c
i really dont understand this, cuz i dont think i ever touched those settings.... and they should be on all the time w/ those settings....i dunno
what should i set them to come on at??
