Tune out part of ABS?

A few months back I changed from my stock 10 bolt to a Moser 9" and the Moser does not have ABS. Obviously the ABS Inop light came on. Can I tune out the rear ABS and keep the front active? I'm not 100% certain that the front ABS still even works. I had to slam my brakes the other day and I noticed grooves in my front tires. Is my front ABS still functional with the rear ABS not hooked up? Also, like I said before, can I have the computer tuned to delete the rear ABS while still keeping the front ABS active. Thanks.

ABS has it's own computer. You cannot delete it in that one.

Is my font ABS still functioning then? I guess I'll just have to live with the ABS inop light as well?

Re: Tune out part of ABS?

No, your front ABS most likely does not function. As for the ABS light, you can remove the bulb from the cluster or you can find the wire that goes to the cluster in wiring diagrams and cut it.

You can build your own ABS setup if you'd like its really not hard i did it when i had my 8.8 rear. If you want to know more about it do a search in this forum under my name.
