Transmission Shift Table??
Transmission Shift Table??
A month ago I installed a new 4L60E and torque converter. I've already adjusted my shift points and TC lockup no problem. What I'd like to do is to soften my 1-2 shifts, they're very hard right now, I've already broken one transmission mount.
Which table to I need to adjust (or can I ) to reduce the harshness of that shift??

Steve,
play with the line pressure offset tables for NORMAL.
Try decreasing all those values by about 25%-30% and see if you like it better like that. Or more if you want even softer shifts.

A ? ... Can you put a negative number in at Zero throttle position?? How will that affect things?? It's really annoying to get a hard shift just after you let off the gas and are coasting ... sigh ... the price of performance.

I don't really like putting really bizzare numbers into my PCM without at least some outside information, and or consultation.
Thx for any help
