Re: TC error code 75?????

i'm getting this error as well, i succesfully programmed my car a year ago without issue. I've tried two computers - one of which is the same as last time. I'm in DOS running flshprog, after i hit P to proceed i immediately get this error code. Cable has been in safe storage the last year so i can't imagin e the cable is messed up. Anyone have any ideas? I need to pass emissions TODAY lol.

I am using an AKM cable, cable is in perfect condition - i've used it several times before without issue.

The fans on the car do not even come on. The program immediately terminates with error 75:

"Fatal error. Error Code: 75"

Tried running under windows jsut for kicks and get similar results. Tried pulling PCM fuse for a minute and still getting the same error. I currently have a desktop computer system in DOS outside next to my car...the last time i programmed my car i used the same computer. But like i said i also tried my laptop and get the same error.

EDIT: I tried logging with Datamaster, that works without a hitch. Furthermore I'm getting no codes form the PCM to indicate there is a problem.

Re: TC error code 75?????

Now getting "Program Error Code: 5"...I'm lost. Everything else communcations wise with the PCM seems to be fine. I haven't tried winflash becuase i don't have it and have heard horror stories of PCMs frying.

Re: TC error code 75?????

SOLVED

So, after about 30 attempts i was completely out of ideas and ready to go buy another PCM thinking the PCM was messed up. I tried running Winflash despite the horror stories i've heard - and besides I figured my pcm was fried anyways. Well, winflash worked without a hitch. I still can't get the DOS utilities to work though.
