Swapping 96 PCM for 94

I have a 96 PCM that is programmed for heads/cam/30lb injectors. I recently put my car back to stock and wanted to use a obd 1 pcm so that it would not read the rear O2's and the CPS sensor. I got a supposed stock computer from a 94 and also swapped to the 94 knock sensor, but the car will not run. It will crank but when throttle is applied it revs down instead of up. Also when it is idling, it is very rough. I swapped back in my 96 knock sensor and the heads/cam 96 computer and it runs great. Did I do the swap right or did I miss something?

Hi Shreveport
Everything you did sounds correct. Sounds like the 94 PCM is bad.

Hey man, I still can't believe I haven't run across you on the street yet. I seem to remember a vert black Z w/ borla that used to sit out front of Champion Lake aprt's. Could that be you by any chance? You should sign up on LS-1.com and come over to the LA. forum. We have alot of trash talk and lots of fun over there. We also have a e-mail list of the LA/shreveport/bossier F-bodies, and we meet up pretty often on Sat. evenings. Just us, no ricers. We could always use another. Look for me on the street in a white 02' SS 1LE. Later, Jason

Yeah, that was me. I lived there several years ago. My apartment was near the back corner and you could see my car parked towards the end of the parking lot while driving by on the parkway.
I'll go check out ls1.com.
