Strange fan settings?

I am using Tunercat. I have a 160 deg t-stat.

My fan settings seem a little different.

Fan1 On threshlod (low mph) 79 Deg C
" " (high mph) 90 deg c
Fan 2 on threshold (low mph) 82 deg c
" " (high mph) 89 deg c
fan Hysteresis (low speed) 3 deg c
" " (high speed) 3 deg c
Fan threshold (high speed) 0 mph

Looks different than what i'm used to seeing. I know my factory file kept both of the fan 1 temps the same (108), and both of the fan 2 the same (113). Why are my temps different now on each fan instead of say 79, 79 and 82, 82?

Can someone explain? Also, should I chnage theses?

Why is the fan 1 turn on at a higher temp than the fan 2 for high mph?
Actually, I guess it doesn't matter since you aren't specifying a mph for the ecm to differentiate from low and high mph turn on's.

If you want to read this and see if it helps with the fan settings.

You can set the fans to whatever temp you want. Some people like to use that low/high settings so they don't have the fans running at highway speeds, where you are getting more airflow through the radiator due to your speed. Others don't. Personally, I just set them the same.

I think I understand now. What is the hysterisis?

Also, can someone tell me what the common values are here for these? Maybe its just early in the morning, but all these damn numbers keep confusing me!

Hysteresis is basically how much the temperature must drop for the fan to shut off.
As far as common values it's totally up to you. See where your car likes to run. What I've found works fairly well is to kick the low speed fan on about 15-20 degrees after the thermostat opens and then kick the high speed on maybe 5 degrees later.
But see what your car likes best. You might want to kick the low speed on right after the thermostat opens and then use the high speed to set the max temp that you'd like to see.
Then if you want to get into differentiating between high and low mph settings you can really get creative.
