I am looking at going with a stand alone system on my 383 LT1 edelbrock heads, cam intake and throttle body as well as headers and nitrous up to 150 shot. i have lookin at this kit http://www.spectreperformance.com/emspro/ wondering if anyone has used it, looking fopr some pro's and cons as well as tuning using this kit.
If someone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated.

 

Looks like an interesting system. Have you inquired if it can be used in conjunction with the LT-1 Opti-spark? Also, didn't see information on pricing???

 

pricing is about $1000 in canada, that is for the unit, wiring and software. I havent looked into the compatability with the opti but thnx for mentioning it i will definetly look into it and hopefully post more info on here when i get it. It is a very new system from wat i am told.

 

Wow. These are sold at auto zone. I will have to look into this more. I am running a dual sync. Opti is gone.

 

Looks alot like megasquirt. It's a universal system. It is bank to bank only. IF you're looking for plug n play this isn't the best choice. Might be a fun project if your the DIY type.
