hypertech??

hey guys i have a 94 z28 ive had hypertech programmer for it i would like to start messing with the shifting points wat are some good shifting points??thanks

The best way is to make a change and record the results of your times. Keep doing this till you find the best for your setup and use that one. I made my shifts as high as possible and as soon as my times went down i stopped going any higher.

I think I have lowered my shift points by -4, -8 and -12 mph respectively. It's been a little while so I'm not certain on the numbers. I would imagine most people would increase the shift points instead. It made for some interesting power band characteristics.

wat times are we talking about 1/4 times??i dont know where to start from and wat happends if u starting going down -1 does it improve shifting??..bare with me guys i just learning all of this...thanks

Unless you can make several runs at the local track i just used 0-60 times.
