stall wall

Did a search with no definite answer. I'm running an obdI conversion. I've had Bryan(pcmforless) send me two updates that were supposed to take care of stall wall but didn't. He did send me a 3rd, but I never got a chance to try it out since I switched to a 383 with the le2 package. The car will be running again this weekend. I run a 3600 yank, pull mid 1.6 60fts, and it only happens at the track(which is the only time it hooks HARD). I thought I saw somewhere that someone mentioned setting the vss to 0 mph for the 1-2 shift, but I'm not positive. I just don't want to have the problem with the new setup. So, can it be fixed FOR SURE?
