speedo calibration
OK , has anyone else REALLY checked their speed calibration?
I have been using tunercat and can't get things to drive.
FIRST, I guarantee I have 3.42 gears in my 95 TA 6 speed.
When setting up for my stock size 245/50/16 811 revs per mile,
my datamaster recorded speed while driving is sometimes what my guage(speedo) shows and sometimes not, and this holds to true for my chase car (wife in s10 or my astro van), At 30 and 45 we are all matched, laptop running datamaser and speedo and chase car, but at my reading of 65, data says 69, wife says 69,
never mind, don't go there!
Why would it be off in different places? And on at others. I don't get it.

Don't think that Tunercat is the most accurate for the Speed o calibration(That's just what I heard) But Datamaster only takes what is in your ECM and uses that for its readout. I would borrow a hand held GPS and check it that way. That way you know if your car is off or Datamaster is off.
Just my 2 cents
