well the motor is a forged 355 with 210 afr heads.right now its pulling 10-15 degrees bc of knock but it has a new knock sensor and the scanner my engine builder has says it cant read the knock,and its got a new sensor..weird,so im sending the pcm to brian next week so he can take out the knock completly bc with the motor i dont need a knock sensor,lol.

anyway its also throwing an igntion code 42..i have no clue if their in correlation of each other having the timeing being pulled and all but does anyone know what igntion components i should look at first.

the opti wasnt new with the motor,and id hate to throw a new opti/delteq at it if i dont need to at the moment.it was off my stock motor but only had maybe 10k on it.doing the motor swap i was pretty good at replacing everything new,except the coil and the 10k old opti.i havent even drivin it yet just getting all the tweeks out.its running 90% just not completly there yet.

 

Check your knock sensor wiring. 42 is "EST Grounded", and EST is another term GM used for the knock sensors.
