is there any way to set the skipshift light to come on at certain shiftpoints instead of hwo the manufacture has them set up... i have the skpshift eliminated, but it the light still comes on.. and i was just wondering if there was a way, or someone who can program the light to come on at proper shifting points.... i hate those big tachs people hang off there steering wheels and was just curiouse if it was possible to reset the light to do this... thanks steven

 

Looking at the CAGS settings in LT1_Edit, I don't think so.

For the settings, you can adjust the following:
- Disable and Enable in MPH
- Disable and Enable in Engine Load
- Enable engine Temp
- Disable in RPM
- Disable in TPS sensor Percentage

For this to work, you would need to have a setting for enable in RPM (while using a plug-in skip-shift eliminator device of course).

You could do it reverse wise, where the light is constantly on until your shift point then goes out.........

Just get a RPM activated switch and wire it to the light.
I've got the cheap proform. The unit is getting mounted under the dash where it can be adjusted. Haven't decided on a light to use, but its gonna be damn near invisible until its lit.
