Simple A4-M6 swap question

When you do the swap what do you do? Just reflash your PCM with an M6 specific program?

Yes, and the car will run/drive with the A4 program. It will throw some tranny codes because the A4 isn't there, but other than that it is fine. There is no such thing as an A4 PCM or an M6 PCM. Both PCMs are the same part #, they just have different flash files loaded.

You willhave to change your Vss calibrations for the M6, I did the reverse swap and my speed O was way off, had to flash in the A4 program and the speed O is now accurate.
