SES, no cags and reverse lockout

on my '95 z28 M6 ive got an SES light, my skip shift light comes on but the solenoid does nothing, and my reverse is hard to get into. ive changed the #6 fuse two times and both times it blew as soon as the ignition switch is turned. dont know where to start with this one. ill be doing more reaserch myself but any extra help would be appreciated.

thanks

Re: SES, no cags and reverse lockout

There are several different things on the #6 circuit in the 95's, including:

-skip shift solenoid (why do you want it to work )
-reverse lockout solenoid
-EGR vacuum solenoid
-EVAP purge solenoid
-O2 sensor heaters
-cooling fans

You need to identify which of the above is blowing the fuse. Shoebox has the 95 wiring diagrams on his Tech Pages.

Re: SES, no cags and reverse lockout

Sure... shorting the +12V wire in the O2 sensor to ground would certainly blow the fuse.
