SES light/Short Shift

Went to the track the other day,and made a couple passes. The 1st pass went fine. The 2nd pass my SES light came on about halfway through 2nd gear (about 4500rpm), and my tranny shifted into 3rd gear...As soon as it shifted, the light went out. So, I came back to the pits down the return lane, and the car wouldn't shift out of 2nd gear. So, I shut it off for about 30-45 minutes. So, I fired it up, and drove home. No light, and shifts were fine. What is the deal???? Did the tranny get too hot in the burnout box?? Does the "Shift Line Pressure vs. Temp" setting need to be bumped up??? I need help..The only thing that the tranny has done to it is a 3200 converter, and a Perma Cool tranny cooler. I also have a 58mm Holley TB if that matters. The car is a 94'z w/383 stroker.
