Question Scanned my Stroker - What's it all mean?

Last night LTLHOMER, Rodrigues and I took my car out for a spin to capture some data. We're trying to figure out two things:
1. why is it always in closed loops 16 &18?
2. Why does it get 8mpg?

Here's the file:
http://kak.com/patch/sean/dad11_4_03.uni

Any ideas?

oops, seen you have a th400..

i think you may need to get a trans swap tune. i just put a th350 in my ride and used a trans swap file and disabled the error codes for the trans..

If you post the file as a ".csv" those of us without DataMaster can look at the file. Can't do that with a ".uni". DataMaster has a utility that will export the data as a .csv file, which can be opened with Excel or 1-2-3.

When the PCM only operates in Cells 16 and 18 (and I'm willing to bet you have a Cell 17 in there somewhre) it generally means it is stuck in open loop, and not going into closed loop.

Appears to be running excessively rich. How big is the cam?

Injuneer,
It will enter Cell 17 during hard deceleration at high rpms as it should.
I'll see if Rodrigues can convert the .uni to .csv for me. He was kind enough to host the file for me.
Cam is "supposedly" a .630 lift, 240's duration, 112 or 114 separation custom made by Comp Cams. I don't have the exact specs, only the builder's comments from memory (car was built in 1999).
I've posted more details about the car in other threads and some more info is in my sig, but if you want additional info, pm or e-mail me. I've got a Scanmaster installed, so I can give you some details on other parameters if they don't show up on the file.

I've learned a lot about PCM function from your excellent articles on the topic.

Talk about split BLM's, I've seen mine separated by as much as 40 from left to right banks.

Thanks for taking a look.

After the scan, LTLHOMER removed all of the tranny error codes, so my Scanmaster is as clean as a whistle now.
