The Scanmaster wont work on a 93 LT1 will it?

 

FT list it as 94 obd1 LT1 - 97 but after googling it it seems as though it will work for all obd1 lt1's, even saw one on a 93.

 

Ya, most of everything I saw said 94 and later but I recall seein one on a 93....hmmm. Thanks.

 

They work on Grand Nationals so I dont see why they wouldn't work on a 93

 

So I could just by an ordinary scanmaster which say works on 94 and later models and hook it up and it will work?

 

Every reference I have ever seen, including my own online ScanMaster guide indicates it will not work on a 93. The determing factor is not whether or not it is "OBD-I"... its the communications protocol. The ScanMaster that works on a Turbo Buick is a ScanMaster that was specifically made for the Turbo Buick. To my knowledge, they are not interchangable.
