Running shorter profile tires, backfire/hitting fuel cutoff?
Re: Running shorter profile tires, backfire/hitting fuel cutoff?
We knew the car was tuned prior, and the previous owner mentioned 3.73s when the car had 3.23s, so we related the bad shifting to bad tuning. Stock tune came in and changed the speedo to more normal and the RPMs as well. So chances are, the tune was for 3.73s as we thought. We just eliminated the tune from being a culprit.
But that wasn't the reason for the lack of wot shifts, it was the coil and wire.

ah, when my car had the gears changed I had no problems with the wot shifting but I guess for an auto car you would have to tune it as the tranny might goto limp mode? Im not that advanced yet and am trying to learn diagnosis for programming as I am just learning this as well.
