readiness monitors - how long?

Since my 7 day grace period is running out I had to get the car inspected today. It failed but now I have 60 days.... Just put the car on the road and flashed in a new program with tunercat. I've only put about 75 miles on the car since then, and I am getting not readys on catalytic converters, O2 sensor heaters, and EGR. I have the EGR solenoid plugged in, but not the valve. I also changed the EGR activation values to things that will never be attained. This was per Chris 96 WS6's suggestions. AIR is disabled. So I had 4 not readys.

My question is how long must I wait for the monitors to become ready? Assuming in Mass the rules are the same I need two more monitors to run to pass.

Oh yeah, I assume the "catalytic converter" monitor is a result of the rear O2's, for which I have simulators...

Here is my complete list:
Engine Misfire - ready
Fuel System - ready
Comprehensive Component - ready
Catalytic Converters - NOT READY
Secondary Air injection - NOT READY
Oxygen Sensors - ready
Oxygen Sensor Heaters - NOT READY
EGR System - NOT READY

Re: readiness monitors - how long?

I went through all this with my car when I passed in june.
I had been monitoring my car with Proscan which tells me when my monitors are ready.
Without doing the OBDII drive test it took me about 300 miles of driving to get 2 not readys.
I never could get the catalyst monitor ready and with the 02 and 02 heater monitors both would read ready after one reflash but the 02 heater would not read ready after another reflash.
This was with 02 sims also.
I've since put in a new 02 sensor as one before was throwing a po140 or 141 code.
I'm checking my car occasionally to see if the other 02 monitor will read ready and if the catalyst will ever read ready.
I have the AIR and it reads ready after 100-150 miles.
The EGR also reads ready at about 100-150 miles of driving.
I used a relay pinched into the egr wires which puts a 75 ohm resistor across the rear and middle wires of the MAP to fool the po400 diagnostic test. Next time I reflash I'll set my EGR values impossibly high and see how that works.
So if your 02 heater doesn't read ready after 2 tanks of gas I'd suggest reflashing the pcm again. You don't have AIR and my catalyst wasn't ready after a month so I wouldn't hope for that one, though I have longtubes and random bullet cats if that makes any difference.
It's stuff like some monitors resetting and others not resetting after a reflash or code clearing, that allows 2 not readys for 96-99 cars to pass.
This has been my experience with the OBDII test I had to pass for the first time this year.
