Question about using an OBDI M6 PCM on an OBDII A4?
Silly question I know, but there is a reason I ask. My 96 T/A has an auto and I want to keep it, but I bought a car with a combination that included a tuned socketed pcm for an OBDI with a 6 speed and LT1 Edit. I would like to know what is involved in making the computer work on my car. I am also concerned about the OBDI shift problem with a high stall because my combination will probably stall over 3k.
Of course I could sell the OBDI setup, but I wouldn't even get enough to buy OBDII LT1 Edit, much less pay for a tuneup.
If anybody knows who does this socketed conversion or how to get around the high stall shift problem, I'd like to hear about that.
Thanks!
