Question about Powerporgrommer 3 with 4L60E

I just got my Hypertech PP# for my 1995 Formula (automatic). My question is, if I use the programmer to change my shift points/firmness. Does this programmign only work when I have my transmission "Performance" button on? if not, when i push the button, does it stop using the programming from the PP3?

all the performance button does is increase voltage to the solenoid to increase line pressure. it will add to what ever you increased with the programmer.

Are you sure that the performance button doesn't make it use the "performance mode" tables instead of the "normal mode" tables?

Looks like the changes it makes are to the base tables so they would apply in either mode:
