Hello everyone! Well I finally became a member after digging around on the forum for about 6 months. I have got a question, but I did a search and did'nt come up with anything. I am wanting to get LT1 Edit and was wondering If the cables for a Tech 2 (GM Scan Tool) would work? The computer end of the cables looks to have a 9-pin connector and is made by HP. I have a Tech 2 at work and it would be killer if I did'nt have to buy the cables from AKM. Any info would be great, and thanks in advance.

 

Sorry me again, I don't know what i was thinking but the computer end is'nt a 9-pin, I think it is RS-232. Sorry about the confusion and thanks again.

 

The tech 2 is more for obdii...

I dont think it will work the same way as the AKM cables since the firmware is not the same.. its not an exact copy (That I am aware of) for the tech 2 cables... the akm cables are pretty darn cheap, get them in conjunction with tunercat...
