PCM Speed
Does anyone know how fast the stock PCM samples data from the sensors and runs calculations?
The way I see it the stock PCM is limited to 7000 rpm and it can control spark in 1 degree increments so it may be performing at:
7000 rot/min X 1min/60sec X 360 calculation cycles/rotation = 42000 cycles/sec = 42 MHz
Although it could be somewhat less in its calculations and still control the spark to a finer degree. If anyone knows any actual data on this, or has any comments I'd appreciate it.
