Hello , can my pcm kill my tranny ? After 4 builds tranny shop finally did a test with a solenoid directly under the hood near the computer and it still throws a code which he says means the pcm is junk. keep losing 1st and o.d. every time. Ever hear of this ? Thanks in advance people. When they go to program my new pcm do i have to let them no about a bigger stall and shift kit etc.

I think I kind of do remember somebody maybe years ago saying their's caused a problem like that. You get one that makes a bad signal or calcs it wrong and that can happen. Just be happy you have somebody trying something to get it to work. Now maybe they have a good business ripping gm off and your only out the time they have it in the shop but what can you do?
