PCM Crashed need quick answer?

Well, I have been trying to find out why my car was running so rough for the as two years (intermiten problem)... and this week i just started acting bad 24-7. It only ran rough when it rained or at closed loop. Well, my friend and i switched out the PCM and it ran fine. my question is this .. I have a 94 auto Formula and he took the pcm out of a 95 auto. I know that the connector on the 95 tranny has a different plug how will this effect my 94? Also I have Lt1 edit for my car. now Im sure it will not work due to the new pcm. Can the dealer reprogam the 95 pcm to match my old 94 pcm Vin # and all? (I have a friend that works there) Or do I have to pay to add a new vin to my lt1 edit? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Kenneth
