Injuneer, Ion, others.. ???

Hello there,

I've just got my car running and purchased tunercat/cable/laptop.

I want to start to adjust my PCM to get a "baseline" tune out of it.
Where do i begin?

Combo:
forged 396 lt1 w/ 12:1 comp, stage 2 p/p heads 2.00/1.56, gm847 cam, dynatech lt's.
-right now i have the stock injectors, but have 42 #'s ready to go in. What do i have to change to get the car to run right.. and the most power out of it.

-Also what should i "adjust" or "play" with to get the timing, fuel, and basic running capabilities of my car to work. I know that i need to mess w/ the AF ratio, and the sprak tables.. How should i go about doing this? Should i mess w/ the MAF, MAP tables also?

Thanks,

Nick

I can't really help you with respect to the stock PCM... I've been running an aftermarket ECU for more than 4 years, speed-density, open loop, no knock sensor.... etc, so there's not much I can tell you about how to get started with a stock PCM.

alright understandable, the pcm itself was reprogrammed for my heads/cam lt1 last year by Ion. I was just wondering what things i can "mess" with to adjust it to get it running right.

thanks,
Nick
