Oxygen Sensor Readings

Oxygen Sensor Readings
I am fixing to tune my Camaro on a chassis dyno. I will be using a wide band oxygen sensor. What are the optimum readings at each point of a drag strip pass? What should it read on the converter, top end, etc.?
My car is a 1998 C/SA Camaro. It brake stalls at about 3200. I shift at about 6800 and cross the finish line at about 7200.
If it helps any, the car weighs 3110 with me in it, it has an LT1 with a TH200 (2.75 first) and 4.88 gears.
It set the IHRA C/SA 1/8 mile record last weekend at 6.76 @ 99.5 mph. I am hoping to get a little more with a decent tune. My sixty foot is only about 1.43 at the moment, which makes me think that I am losing a little when the car first transitions to wide open throttle.
Thanks in advance,
Daren

And here it gets lost?!!
I get about thirty passes on a set of valve springs. If any of you were at the LS1 thing at Bowling Green a few weeks back, you would have seen me checking my plugs betwean rounds. I need the high tech way to do this. All help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Daren

Why not just tune using the computer to never go to closed loop. That way you can be at any AFR you want, at any RPM or MAP. There would be no lag time.
This was to offer a solution to your "transition to WOT" question.

Ben,
I do run my car open loop. What I am looking at is to dyno tune the motor making as few pulls as possible. I am hoping that some one with a little experience can point me in the right direction. That way I can make a base line run. Asses the results. Make adjustments and maybe only have to make about three or four pulls. The last time I was on a dyno I made seven pulls for very minor gains.
Thanks,
Daren

Mark,
I made nine dyno pulls on Monday. I managed to make quite a bit of improvement and learned quite a lot. The down side is that I will now have to pull the motor and transmission to overhaul them.
How did that rear end work out?
Thanks,
Daren

Working good so far, still have not found that dang ticking sound yet. I will try to come by one day maybe we can find it this time. Did ya go to the guy in Shelby to do the dyno? He have a nice setup? Why ya have to rebuild?

On the dyno I basically make a full drag strip pass. That means I went over 7000 rpm 27 times. add the fact that this motor has 30 drag strip passes also. For me new bearings and rings and a look inside are good insurance.
I run my transmissions minus a cooler, which means that the clutches don't last quite as long.
