Open Source FreeScan

So I re-wrote some of the freescan program before to allow you to flag certain portions of your logging, say your running along and want to monitor your vehicle but you also want to easily be able to pick out points in your log, you just click a button tada.
I've lost this file, but I'm remaking it as we speak, as I do so if anyone has any suggestions or comments please make them and I'll send out the finished versions as they get made.
I'm probably also going to need some beta testers as I lost my ALDL cable so I can't test the functionality.

I'll start this off with a suggestion from myself which can be done.

Enable CSV logging or automatically flag the CSV log on TPS% > X% (Note we can do different levels of flagging too.)

Re: Open Source FreeScan

Are you modifing the original program to improvr crashing errors and such or just doing flag points?

I can modify whatever on the original program. Let me know what crashing errors you've seen and I'll see what I can do. I can modify it to do pretty much anything...

Re: Open Source FreeScan

I can't even get it to install on XP. It starts to install, then just goes away on the task manager. On an older one I have, I have to run it in Windows 98 compatibility so it will run smoothly. When I click on the dash board, it crashes. Does the desired idle part of that even work for our cars? I can't get it to. Can you change the TC 43 ESC Error to Knock Senor Fault? Man I can go on and on!
