Open Loop vs. Closed Loop Poll

I just want to get a count of how many people are succesfully tuning their cars with either open loop or closed loop, and what obstacles did choosing open or closed help you overcome?

lol, well so far 100% say open loop ...figured it would be best to just post my link instead of repeating all of that. I'm surprised at the lack of participation in this thread/poll. I will try to remember to update this once I get my car off the jacks and figure out the tuning. For now, I will just say that open loop runs much better than closed loop in my case. Open loop cured my lean surge at part throttle (too much fuel trim in closed loop).

Re: Open Loop vs. Closed Loop Poll

I'm surpised too... I thought more people would be interested in knowing these results.

I have a theory about the sluggishness off the line/cruise surging. I cleaned my MAF today and found some oily residue on the resistors. I assume that this oil was coming from the supercharger since I have a blow through MAF setup now. You should try cleaning your maf it almost eliminated my problem...
