Ok got Datamaster working...Now how am i suppose to flash the car if LT1 edit flash program wont read my PCM (it connects but gets some errors and just sits there saying (entering PCM secure mode) Anyone get LT1 edit to work with the adapteR?

I'm afraid that you probably need a PCMCIA card to RS232 adapter. This is the adapter you should have got in the first place.It will give you a true com port unlike the USB that uses timing to accomplish the data tranfer and doesn't support LT-1 Edit.(Check with Dave at www.carputing.com ) Two suppliers are www.quatech.com and www.superlogics.com or you might find one on eBay for under a hundred dollars.

 

hey saint i use the same adapter. and have programmed about 40 tunes and never fried a pcm.

but i donr know about the sucureity code on lt1 edit, but tuner cat works great with it.

sorry i couldnt help you im just not familar with lt1 edit.
