ODBI Big Convertor shifting problems

Does anyone have a LT1 Edit file to fix the big stall convertor problem. Or does anyone know of a way around this problem for sure?

Any help would be appreciated.

If you want I can send you a copy of my current flash from work tommorrow with a list of what was done to it. It seems that some people can get around this by changes in the flash and some can't.

You would definetly know if you had the problem. It is caused by a stuck bit VSS error (due to the nature of large convertor + slippage+ quick acceleration). the symptom is a soft 1 - 3rd shift on hard acceleration. the tranny will skip 2nd gear completely. this is due to the trans operating in backup (limp) mode due to the VSS error.

were you experiencing this problem, and by the changes you made, did this fix the problem?

is it possible that this could cause the tranny to slip into different gears while driving, mine will do okay for a while, but then it will jump around in gears, like 4th to 3rd, and back to 4th, frequently, while im cruising.

does it happen at part throttle is what im trying to say

Basically the motor would hang on the rev-limiter before the1-2 shift. All I did is lower the mph until it shifted where I wanted and increase the line pressure across the board to make up for the softer shifting all the time with the high stall.

No. It shouldn't.
