OBDII vs. OBDI conversion questions
I need to get either the LT1 Edit or Tuner Cat software. Is there any advantage / disadvantage to using LT1 Edit for OBDII or should I convert to OBDI (and use LT1 Edit or Tuner Cat)?
The easiest thing would be to use the OBDII version but it's kind of pricey. OBDI might be a little cheaper but I don't want to lose any functionality by going this route.
Any input you can give me would be appreciated.
Thanks

I switched to OBDI with a conversion PCM from PCMforless. I just had him put a stock program in it and make whatever changes would be necessary to be able to use the OBDII knock sensor.
Then buy TunerCat, a cable from AKM, and Datamaster.
Total cost: $420...and you don't lose anything that I can think of.
Seems like a good deal to me.
