OBDII to OBD1 PCM conversion?

I read somewhere, how to solder a resistor into an OBD1 PCM to use it with the OBDII knock sensors.

Can anyone tel me what I need to do?

I need to be able to switch back to OBDII for emissions tests and I don't really want to buy another OBD1 PCM.

If anyone can tell me more about this, please let me know.

Thanks

For an F-body, a 3.9 kOhm resistor needs to be soldered between ground and pin 22 of the blue connector.
