OBDI PCM Issues?

Ok guys, I hooked up my new cable and still have "Data Err" issues in datamaster. I have made a recording as I am now getting DTC's flashing all over the place very quickly and I am starting to think that my PCM has issues. The car runs great, however this whole thing started about 3 weeks ago with the PCM showing false knock and now I see this. I can send you a copy of my .UNI file recorded in Datamaster (pm me your email) as it was recorded only at idle for about 5 mins and I am showing the following DTC's flash on and off very quickly:

24, 65, 34, 82, 22, 44, 27, 41, 80, 48, 44 and 83

Half of these are Transmission related and I have an M6?

I think my PCM is going bad or has issues, any one else have any advise?

(PS: I know my BLM's are split as that is largely do to the fact I havn't driven it to help level out the LTcounts and also my cam size on a 108lsa).

Mine is not quite that bad as my DTCs flash randomly and do not stay. The car runs perfectly and does not shut off or not restart. I'm thinking mine is a grounding issue as my ground strap (driverside head to body) is pretty corrroded and I will be replacing it today to see if this helps. I swapped out PCM's yesterday with a spare I have on hand and didn't help. We'll see if this ground will help and I'll let you know.

Re: OBDI PCM Issues?

PCM gets ground from ground stud on block passenger side down near the starter. Also two wires on ground stud on front of head drivers side go to PCM injector drivers. The stud on head should also have 1 black wire to ICM and coil and a braided wire to chassis. Obviously both ground studs require the chassis is properly grounded to battery negative check the main ground wire from battery and also the ground stud on the passenger fenderwelll. Won't hurt to verify the +12 v distribution stud is Ok on the fender well.

Correct, and all grounds have been checked, sanded, cleaned, etc... The only one that is questionable is the braided grounding strap as it's pretty green/corroded from age and I've heard this can cause interference with the signals from the ALDL from PCM.

K, the ground strap didn't work, still have "Data Err" messages and random DTC's. Really tired of chasing this gremlin, so since she's running smooth and strong, I'm going to leave it be for now. Let me know if you ever figure yours out.
