Does your car idle high? When was your last tuneup? (plugs/wires/etc)

Angry

I have one of those codes also, however, the checking of codes by an auto parts store is prohibited here in Miami-Dade county for some odd reason. Anyway that was just a secondary thought in case one of you ever run accross someone else in Miami. So I purchased this scanner (http://www.actron.com/cgi-bin/web_st...d=8950502_7131) POS IMO. You can't monitor sensor values in real time as with other scanners, but I got the P0507 code as well and my car (97 SS) does idle high 950-1100 in neutral and about 950 in gear most of the time. When first started it races at about 1800 for a moment and takes several seconds to gradually drop to the above mentioned RPM's. I have replaced the IAC and TPS. Still getting the code. My next step is to lube the throttle plate shaft incase my cleaning the throttle body caused it to stick and then check for vaccum leaks then EGR. If anyone has other suggestions I am open to them. Sorry this was so long. I thought this may help us both. Thanks in advance.
