O2 sensors full of soot, can i clean them?

I had a problem with my car and my tune.I change my o2 sensors for some new ones after fixing everything.

They where not reading well since they are full of soot.

Since they are less than 1500 miles old can i clean them up?And keep them has backup?

With what?Brake cleaner and let them dry???

Thanks

Eric

I've used a shot of air from my compressor before.
