O2 sensors

How can I turn off my o2 sensor with lt1 edit or replace values to simulate an o2 sensor?

Re: O2 sensors

Your sig says you have a 1995, so you have only 2 O2 sensors (fronts). They cannot be simulated (only rear O2s are). The only way you could ignore them is to run an "open loop" tune. Only people with very specific needs usually do that (mostly pure race machines).

Re: O2 sensors

on long trips after about an hour my car will start acting up and my ses light comes on. When i run freescan it says that my left o2 sensor is out. How in the world do you change this with a set of bbk shorty headers. Ive tried for about 2 hours and cant get it from the top or bottom. I might just have to drop the header and replace it I was thinking about getting some longtubes anyway. Any suggestions?

Re: O2 sensors

What is the EXACT DTC code you are getting for the O2 sensor?

Re: O2 sensors

Couldn't you get away with dropping the y-pipe and not the header?

Re: O2 sensors

You can turn off O2 sensors by setting the closed loop activation temp to something like 250 degrees. Of course the sensable thing to do is just replace the bad sensor.
