3.73 are nice, u may need a new posi tho, and u will need a dyno tune, or hypertech to adjust your speedo because mine is way off.. also abs will not be functional with 3.73's if u dont want to do that, go for 3.42 then to keep abs, and i believe speedo wont be off i hear

i have also heard that dyno tuning may be better, not only is it a custom tune, but everything can get changed around for gears, shiftpoints n that sort of thing, plus you can get a before and after dyno sheet on ur hp/tq and all

i havent changed the gears yet, but am looking into it for a winter project. i am in iowa. my car has 3.42 gears stock. what i wanted to do is break into the 13s and runa above 100 in the 1/4. without any mods to the engine.

whats htis about the abs not working with 3.73??? i started getting an abs light soon after my gear install (mostly intermittent until the car sat for another 5 months then it stayed on).. never noticed any negative effects from it but the light went off tonight after i changed the fuel filter no idea what that would have to do with it *shrug*

Throw on a nice pair of drag radials and I'm sure you'll see that 13 without tearing into the motor.
