New to TunerCat need some help
OK folks,
I have a 1995 T/A, A4 (Jet Performance tranny), stock bottom end, stock heads, ATI 8# kit, Lucas 42# injectors, MAC Shorty headers, No CAT, Borla CAT back, Racetronix intank fuel pump (high pressure high volume), descreened MAF, MAF located on the pressure side near TB, stock TB.
I purchased a program from a recommended programmer and car runs way way too rich, fouling plugs, huge black cloud under WOT, I am extremely furstrated at this point. I have been through everything at least 3 times, fuel pressure, compression, injector tests (leaks, etc), it simply has to be programming. I purchased TunerCat today and just awaiting the EE file to start working with it myself.
Guys any help you can give me will be fantastic, I am starting from scratch, never used programers before so any links, tips, hints, heck even flames would be appreciated.
Thank you in advance,
Chris

Chris,
Are you running the stock cam as well? I swapped over to 42# injectors and was having fouling problems as well. I had changed the injector constants to 42# to match the injectors, but I never changed the injector offsets vs. batter voltage table. That was the key and I haven't had problems with it since. I have the file around somewhere. Let me know if you want it. As far as WOT tuning, you will need to go to a dyno. I imagine your % enrichment at WOT is jacked way up, and using the dyno wideband you can dial the air fuel ratio in pretty fast usually after a few runs. There is an excel spredsheet for this very purpose, and when I used it I dialed in the fuel in 2 pulls. It can be found at http://para.noid.org/~lj/ under his tuner section. It is very informative. Any more questions let me know

Thank you for your help, yes I would love to see that file, just email it to infosys@chartertn.net
Yes I am running the stock cam. I am going to make some logs of the engine when I drive it around tomorrow, if I can figure out how to do that for sure.
Thanks for your help Bill!
