I am trying to get my smog certificate.

Good news: The car's gases are terrific! Tube up the butt and it sniffs perfectly, while at dyno speeds. Even looks good under the hood, new cats, etc.!! Lots of vacuum at idle; smooth and brand new cats.

Bad News: SInce the new testing procedures plug into OBDII port, the car fails on these tests as incomplete: O2 Test; Heated 02 Test; Airpump, EGR and Catalyst tests. All other tests run complete.

I cannot get the PCM to "complete" the OBDII tests.

I have compared all of the tests to "stock.lt1" file and some were turned off, but now all are turned on, but the tests still fail to complete.

I am considering a dealer Flash of the PCM and

-- 1996 SS w' 383 and D1SC Procharger and very, mild 304 cam.

 

Have you tried a Drive Cycle? There are set 20-Minute driving patterns that will engage your Monitors. I'm sure someone here has one for the LT1.
