new 381ci LT1 ecm concerns.
i'm about to start assembling my new LT1, its based on a 1995, .020 over block, eagle 3.75 crank, eagle 6" sir rods, srp -16cc dish pistons, stock ported heads w 2.00 1.56 valves, 1.6 rockers, lt4 hot cam.
i'm transplanting the lt1 into my 62 impala ss, i've done a lt1 swap before, but the engine was completely stock.
i've got a 95 pcm, harness, maf, etc and lt4 knock module.
i'm buying lt1 edit to disable my vats, emissions, and adjust for the larger cubes.
is there anyone running an engine similar to mine that has a lt1 edit tune that i could look at or use as a base?
will i be able to tell lt1 edit the new volume per cylinder and will the stock tune run the engine alright?
how will the added stroke and longer rod effect the timing requirements of my engine? longer rod means more dwell time at tdc correct?
what about fuel requirements? 24lb injectors with adjustable fpr be able to cover me?
thanks in advance for any help!
Brendan.
